The activity sheets on this site were developed by the aquarium staff and interns for groups visiting the aquarium. They are posted here for anyone to use. To see the answers, send us an e-mail (woodshole.aquarium@noaa.gov) or ask for an answer sheet when you sign in at the security desk.

If you use any of these sheets, we would like to hear from you: Was the sheet useful? Too hard? Too easy? Do you have suggestions how it could be improved? Send an e-mail with comments, questions, suggestions to: woodshole.aquarium@noaa.gov

Share Your Activity Sheets

We would like to expand this page. Teachers, if you have your own aquarium activity sheet that you would be willing to share, send it to us so we can post it. Make sure to tell us whom we should credit. Include a note telling what age group the sheet is written for, and provide any instructions about how to use the sheet (activities to do before or after the visit, for instance).

User Beware

The aquarium is constantly changing as animals grow old and die and new animals arrive. The population of animals in the aquarium will be at least a little different every time you visit.

Because the aquarium is constantly changing, you may not find the answer to every question. The answers were all available in the aquarium when the sheets were posted – and we've tried to stick to questions about animals that are almost always in the aquarium, but be aware that occasionally a question might not be answerable on the day you visit.
